My mother(Lillian Archer) and Antoinette were best of friends in their early days. Some of my best memories were when we would come over to visit with her and Tony at her beautiful home. She made us feel so welcome. I think of those days often. My condolences to Tony and family. Peaceful journey….
My sister died at age 95 and, according to her wishes, peacefully and quietly in her beloved home. She was confronted with, and overcame, many challenges during her life. Her mother died at a vert early age, leaving her as a teenager living with various relatives, some of whom were not the right fit for her. She married later in life and was blessed with her only child, Tony, but more grief was to come when her husband Frank also died at an early age, leaving her alone to raise her child. She met all of life\’s challenges with dignity, independence and respect. We will miss her dearly. Her obituary indicates the happy date of her birth followed by a dash and the sad date of her death. But what matters most is the dash, for it represents the time she spent on earth. If we live our time on earth as she did, the world would become a much better place.
