Arlene, your remarkable life was a testament to the power of love and kindness, and your family’s warmth and dedication are a reflection of your beautiful spirit; I’m humbled to be part of your family ❤️.
Love you always
I posted on FB that Arlene became my second mom when I lost my own mom in 2001.
She affectionately referred to me as her favorite sone in law.
I am very glad that she was a part of my life and my family. We will all miss her, but we are grateful that she is at peace and that she went peacefully.
While at the funeral, I had a flashback to my own confirmation. I converted to to the Catholic faith in 1991, a year after I was married. The flashback was that my confirmation sponsor was Arlene.
Aunt Arlene, you will be so missed. I will always remember your fun laugh, beautiful nails (way ahead of your time), and gorgeous jewelry! One of my favorite memories as a kid is when you let me pick out any jewelry I wanted for my prom and when you took me to go to the Nutcracker with you! You always brought a comforting smile and laughter to 444 Child street! All my love always ❤️ Jennifer
Glenn although I never met your mom just by knowing you and reading her story lets me know what a beautiful and special person she was my deepest condolences to you and your beautiful family
Im so very sorry for your loss.
I remember your mom fondly. Her love of Life and Family was always her strength.
She will always be a part of my memories as a young girl!
My heart goes out to all of you.
Cindy
