What a gift it has been to know her, to raise our children together since they were just so little. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Heaven is that much brighter now.

  6. Jim and Family,I am truely sorry for your loss.Barbara was a wonderful woman. A true fighter! The Lord has Gained Another Angel!

  7. Mrs. Leary, all the memories I have with you as a child are truly amazing. You were there for me when my grand father died and u even sponsored me for my conformation. All of which you didn’t have to do but chose to because that was the kind of person you are. May you be pain free and happy now. I will miss you, but never forget.

  8. She was a wonderful friend and mother. She always volunteered in the classroom and was so kind. She will be missed. Sending love to Jessica and Stephanie. I was so blessed to know your mom.

  9. I worked with Barb for many years at Bingo World. We all shared a lot of “girl talk” about husbands, kids, pets, work and eventually, Cancer. I will always admire the way she handled everything with such grace and strength. May she rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

  10. Barb, We shared so many wonderful memories of the girls days at MOS, soccer games, girl scouting, field trips, etc. and you will be dearly missed. Jim, Jessica and Stephanie, may your wonderful memories comfort you in your time of sorrow. Our prayers are with you all. With Love, Diane, John & Lindsay

Our deepest sympathy and prayers for Jim, Jessica and Stephanie and her entire family.

  13. Barb – when I think of you, I will remember your strong commitment and dedication – not just to your family, but to your faith, to your students, and to your running! I was always grateful to have you be part of any committee I was working on – I knew I could count on you always! Jim and I have fond memories of having you “take control” of the 8th grade students who volunteered as servers at one of the MOS Fashion Shows – you spoke and they listened!! I will surely miss passing you on my 5 a.m. runs down Long Pond and Latta. I am honored to have known you. Heaven is in great and giving hands now. God Bless you and your family.

  14. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES BARB!!! Whether it was joking our way through Santa’s Secret Shop,8th grade class trip bus buddies to NYC, soccer games, and many other MOS activities…you always made it fun. 18. As my daughter begins her journey into kindergarten this year, I will also remember last year she spent at FUNTIME at MOS. Kahlia learned so much, and enjoyed it every day. Mrs. Leary was the most kind & caring woman to be in charge of this program. It was as if she was a born natural to lead our young children into learning and making it fun. I will always treasure what she did for my daughter. I know now she is up there continuing her work as a teacher, a leader, leading those little ones who were taken too soon. How amazing it is that she is in God’s kingdom now and pain & worry free. God bless her heart & soul. My blessings & love go out to her family and close friends as well. John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”

  19. God is blessed with another Angel. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Leary family during this difficult time. May God bless you always!

  20. Barb had a calm, witty, giving nature. We have fond memories of her as a MOS parent volunteer at school and Girl Scout events. She touched many lives. Rest in peace, Barb.

  21. How wonderful it was to spend our days raising our children in such an amazing school! Will forever cherish great memories of volunteering at the school, girl scouts, the festival and friendship done along side of you. You exemplified strength and courage. May you be well with the angels, while we grieve your absence. Thinking of you, Jim, Jessica and Stephanie.

  22. Barb taught all four of our children at FunTime. She was a true inspiration and we will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

  23. Barb will always be in my heart. I will never forget the friendship we shared. Barb will be greatly missed. I thank God that Barb was in my life.
