February 27, 2014. Ben is predeceased by his grandfathers, Louis Assenato Raymond Fenton. He is survived by his parents, Mark L. (Margaret) Assenato and Cheryl A (Fenton) Previte; sister, Carlie Assenato; grandmothers, Bea Fenton and Marilyn Assenato; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 7-9 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) Benjamin's funeral service will be 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Interment at Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to NAMIWALKS, 274 N. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14607 in Benjamin's memory. Ben was born in Orlando, FL and at a young age his family moved back "home" to Gates, NY Growing up Ben was like most young men his age, he was active. He participated in Pop Warner Football, Paintball, Karate and he also played the trumpet. Ben was a graduate of Gates Chili High School. During his High School years he gained an affinity for modern technology. He had a desire to learn new things. He became very astute in the realm of computers and how programs worked. Ben was and avid on-line gamer, his X-Box was never far away. His favorite game to play was Madden Football. Ben was a avid Miami Dolphins Fan. He also enjoyed watching science fiction, adventure action movies. His favorite movie of all time was Star Wars. Ben will be missed most of all because of his charismatic way that he naturally had with people. He was intelligent and a good communicator who was always with friends.
