Vito, Bernard R. Greece: July 8, 2017, at the age of 81. Predeceased by his wife, Genevieve "Cookie" Vito; son, Chris Vito. He is survived by his son, Bernie (Jackie) Vito; grandsons, Dominic, Marco & Michael Vito; daughter-in-law, Leslie Buchanan; granddaughter, Alexa Rae Vito; brother, Ralph (Toni) Vito; sister, Carol Stafford; companion, Carolyn DeMonte; many nieces & nephews. To light a candle of remembrance, visit www.bartolomeo.com Bernard's visitation will be held 4-7 on Tuesday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 & Long Pond Rd). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at St. John The Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Rd. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will be held privately. Played baseball with his friends from Brown's Square & Edgerton Park through his mid 40's. Referee for Section Five Football for 35 years. Coached his son Chris in Pop Warner Football. Coached both sons in Soccer with Greece Buccaneers. Spent winters in Las Vegas. Went to breakfast at Stoneys Restaurant with his friends every day. Loved spending time with his grandchildren. Enjoyed golf year round both in Las Vegas and Rochester.
