Aunt Brenda:
I will forever miss your smile and sense of humor. You always took the time to talk to me and make me laugh. I was so glad to see you last fall, and we all appreciated the time you took to call our Mom, Adel Tette. I know you are smiling with Uncle Joe, and hope my Dad, Maurie and the rest of the family are taking good care of you.
Love,
Maureen
Having been a teacher and coach at Athena, I had the pleasure of knowing the Leonardo family in a variety of ways. Truly extraordinary family and individuals. My family extends our deepest sympathies.
I love my Great Aunt Brenda. I am so happy to have seen her in November, to have sat beside her, spoken with her, felt her immutable warmth. My heart flows to her children & grandchildren.
Joe, Kathy, Steve, Mike and Mark – I am so sad to hear about the passing of your mother. I remember many good times with her in your home as we were growing up. It seemed like she was usually in the kitchen. Sundays were always particularly wonderful, with a pot of sauce on the stove and other delicious food on the counters and table. She seemed like she always had a smile on her face, and I always knew that I was welcome in her home. My condolences to you and your families.
Words can not express how sorry I am for your loss. I remember Mrs. Leonardo during my “earlier” school days with Kathy. No matter what grade we were in, Mrs. Leonardo was always there help.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

You were an exceptional woman who brought light and laughter to all you came in touch with. Thank you for bringing Kathy into this world. She is one of my truest friends and “big sister”. I’m not sure what I would have done this year without her support and promise you that I will be there to help support her the best I can as we both mourn our Mom’s. I’ll miss our scratch off parties, your pizza and awesome wit. Try not to get put on a PIP up there, ok? Say hi to my Mom for me.
