  1. Wendy L Wray Relation to Deceased: Friends of David and Jayne and family We are sorry to hear your father (grandpa) has passed away. We have very fond memories of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. We are thinking of you…. Wendy, Alexa & Paige XOXO I think no matter where you stray, That I shall go with you a way. Though you may wander sweeter lands, You will not forget my hands, Nor yet the way I held my head Nor the tremulous things I said. You will still see me, small and white And smiling, in the secret night, And feel my arms about you when The day comes fluttering back again. I think, no matter where you be, You’ll hold me in your memory And keep my image there without me, By telling later loves about me. Dorothy Parker

Your faith, strength, compassion and courage forever now a part of me. ~ Dona Nobis Pacem ~ With all my love and many blessings, Your Baby Susan “Don’t cry cause it’s over, SMILE cause it happened.” -Dr. Seuss

  4. Sarah L Hauser Relation to Deceased: Granddaughter Grandpa, all my life i have looked at you to be a constant example of “the right way” . I will always remember going over to your house everyday, just to hang out with you. you and grandma would always have something for us to do, whether it was painting on the back porch or you telling us stories. of course, there were the times when you would allow us to look through your chair cushions and find spare change that had fallen out of your pocket. you were always someone to confide in, and someone who always gave no matter what he had. I will miss you grandpa, but i will still keep the memories i have of you alive in my heart forever. Rest In Peace. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. An Old Irish Blessing

  5. Paul W Moriarty Relation to Deceased: Son Dad, Thanks for all that you’ve given us and all that you’ve been for us. No father could have been a better example of how to live. You always made everyone feel special. You searched out the weak and lonely and made them feel they belonged. You made sure everyone felt welcome and that they had fun. You lived your life as an example of how Jesus wants us all to live. I know you’re now in a better place to look after Mom, our entire extended family and your many friends. And I am sure the food banks of Rochester are glad to still have you on their side directing surplus grocery traffic from above. On the golf course of life, you finished under par and on top of our leader board. We can all live a little easier knowing you’ll help us keep it in life’sfairway and out of the rough. To sum it up Dad, YOU WERE THE BEST! Love, Paul p.s. I’d still appreciate a sign to point us towards a good new restaurant now and then,

  9. Maggie Smith-Orlando Relation to Deceased: niece Uncle David, you were always so cheerful, with your booming voice, big hugs and great affection for all of your family, us nieces and nephews included. Always the gracious host and caring relative. I often think of you and mom sitting around the dining room table visiting over cigarettes and coffee. You always had a plate of something delicious from Aunt Marie or a mystery magazine to share. Any excuse to stop in and visit with your sister Rosemary. We would hover around to hear you talk, because you were just so larger than life. When we would stop in at the nursing home to see Nana, we would inevitably find you there, or Nana would exclaim, “You just missed David!” I wonder if you ever missed a day. I don’t think I ever heard you complain about a thing. And I never met one person who knew you, (and everyone in the Greece community knew you, it seems,…), that didn’t, upon learning that you were my uncle, proceed to proclaim about what a wonderful and generous man you were. I will miss you. Say hi to all the relatives for me. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. An Old Irish Blessing
