GREECE - December 26, 2019. Candida is predeceased by her husband Giuseppe Nolletti; siblings, Antonio Marinetti Teresa Marinetti. She is survived by her children, Nick (Toni) Nolletti, Febea (Jeff) Hodges, Massimo (Patti) Nolletti; grandchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Coon, Nick Cerami, Joe Cerami, Joe Nolletti, Nick Nolletti, Nikko Nolletti Taylor Nolletti; great-granddaughters, Ava Lilianna Coon; brother, Ennio (Rossanna) Marinetti; several nieces, nephews, cousins dear friends. Candida's life story will be shared during her visitation, Monday, December 30th, 2-4 7-9 at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 31st, 10 AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd., immediately followed by her entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory. Candida Nolletti was born on November 28th, 1931 to Davide and Febea Marinetti in Ovindoli, Italy. She grew up with 3 siblings, Nino, Teresa and Ennio. Candida met Giuseppe in their hometown in Italy. They fell in love and got married. Giuseppe traveled to different countries to find work, while Candida stayed behind at home with their son, Nick. At one point when Giuseppe came back home, they had 2 more children, Febea and Massimo. Giuseppe then came to America, and two years later, Candida came to the states with their 3 children without speaking a word of English. Candida made all her meals from scratch and baked bread daily. She made all pasta, canned all of her produce and made all of her wonderful Italian cookies with love. Family was everything to Candida. She cherished and enjoyed every Sunday dinner with her immediate family, spending time with them made her very happy. If any of her family members were running late to dinner, their phones would ring, and Candida would ask "Where are you??" Candida worked for General Circuit and then later on she worked for and retired from Century Mold. She and her husband Giuseppe eventually moved into her daughter Febea's in-law apartment where she looked after her parents. Febea would take Candida on daily car rides, which she always looked forward to. Candida was described as a strong-willed and brave woman. She was also known as being outspoken and was proud of her traditional values. You could ever stop at her house without her making you eat! Candida was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She will be deeply missed and always lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
