MaryAnn T Manetta Dirks Relation to Deceased: Godchild, niece Dear Godfather Uncle Carl, You looked after me as your child. After Dad/Al left us I always had you as my other father. I will always love you and have you in my heart. Your loving Godchild, MaryAnn I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
Joe Montagna Relation to Deceased: friend I remember my mother taking me shopping when I was a little boy and Carl allways helped us shop for my cloths at B Formans and Mcfarlins. He was like family, after he retired I would see him from time to time out and about. I will miss him and sorry for the loss to his family and friends. People like Carl just dont exist in todays world.. I pray that Carl is in a better place and will remember his smile.
Jeanne Manetta-O’Connor Relation to Deceased: niece Uncle Carl I will miss our talks on the phone and sitting in your driveway discussing anything and everything. I will miss you very much and think of you often. Now you are finally joined again with our beloved Aunt Nellie. You are both in my heart forever! The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
