Thomas and Linda Sweet Relation to Deceased: Great Nephew Aunt Carm, You will truly be missed. Your were such a wonderful lady and I feel so blessed to have been able to have you in my life. You always made my heart smile 🙂 The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Meredith Boulis Relation to Deceased: Friend Carm thank you for adopting me as one of your granddaughters with no grandparents left in my life you truly became one of my own. You will be forever missed. The celebration of life, shared in the beginning, and again, in the end. Yet we forget to celebrate it, in every moment we live. Time, days, years, go on, but are we alive? Alive and do not know it, sleeping in the world and dead to the life we are to live. To celebrate all life, the sparrow who sang in the morning, and died in the night, why do we not celebrate its life? To know thyself is to know you are alive – to give, to love, to seek truth, beauty, and suffer pain. In life as it is meant to be, pain is forgotten, and strength is all that’s left to be gained in the moment by moment celebration of life. By Deborah Peabody

I think, no matter where you be, You’ll hold me in your memory And keep my image there without me, By telling later loves about me. Dorothy Parker

Kathy Penny Relation to Deceased: friend Ok, now I found out you can’t hit the return key or it cancels you out, ha, ha!! Recently Carm had become ill and had been receiving care at the St. Marys Campus of Unity. Carm shared she was resistant on coming into the city at first. However, when Carm and i saw each other for the first time in my new department, it was all smiles, hugs, and a few tears of joy were shed. She was so happy to see me and i was just as delighted to see her–Ok, not the part that she was sick. Anyway, Carm was one of the regular gals after the first visit. Her beautiful, smile, her contagious laugh and her genuine concern for others was obvious. All the nurses loved her and we gave her a special pillow for her neck that we stored every week that was just Carms. Carm would be not feeling well herself, yet always asked about others and wanted to lend a hand of support. Carm you touched so many lives over the years. I will miss you very much. God must have needed another Angel on November 12, every one who know you, loved you. All my love to you Carm and your family, You will be truely missed by everyone.
