Rochester: September 24, 2014. Predeceased by husband, Frederick Fuller; parents, Dominick Mary Catanese. Survived by children, Kathleen (John) Viviani, Frederick Fuller; grandchildren, John (Deena) Viviani, Rachel Fuller, Kelly Fuller, Brian Fuller. Carol had a strong love for her family and enjoyed gardening cooking. The family wishes to thank the 5th Floor staff at Kirkhaven for their kind and excellent care.
Visitation is 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Carol's funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 AM Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Pk, Rochester. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kirkhaven Nursing Home, 254 Alexander St, Rochester, NY 14607 in Carol's memory.
Born in Avon, NY on April 5, 1923, Carol moved to Rochester at a young age and grew up on Hayward Avenue. She graduated from East High School where she had enjoyed attending many teen dances. After graduation, she married and became a housewife and raised her family.
Carol loved family events, especially Christmas. She took a big interest in her grandchildren and was always very supportive of her family's interests.
In her spare time, Carol liked gardening, cooking and baking. She made great Christmas cookies and was known for her killer lasagna. She was a big fan of soap operas and jazz music.
Family and friends would best describe Carol as someone who always saw the good in everything. She was very family oriented and ha d a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
