Mike Flaherty Relation to Deceased: Former student Mrs. Licurse was my all-time favorite teacher. I had her in 8th grade at Athena Jr High for advanced 9th grade Regants math in the early 1970’s. She was great at teaching and terrific at making class fun and interesting. I’ll always remember her wonderful laugh and smile, and the twinkle in her eye. I am sure she touched many of her students the same way. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Karin Price From the Greece Athena Class of 1971 we send our deepest condolences to the Licurse Family. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Judy and Bill Breach Relation to Deceased: friends Our hearts are weeping for the loss of our dear friend but we are rejoicing for having had her in our lives. She was the best of the best and we will miss her terribly. Our love to her wonderful family. Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, far as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart.
Family The Valentine Our memories are sacred and will have them always. Carolyn is celebrating with our other lost loved ones and GOD. Peace As we look back over time We find ourselves wondering ….. Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ….. To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We’re thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us.
