  1. joe/Joyce and family…
My condolences to you on the recent death of your wonderful, beautiful mother, Kay.
May she rest in peace along side so many other angels, in Heaven.

  2. When I reflect on my best childhood memories they always include my Aunt Kay. I think of the smells and tastes of her good Italian cooking and hanging out with her and the cousins watching the great TV shows of the 50’s. Aunt Kay was brave enough to give me my first job babysitting her 5 kids and she always paid me more than the going rate. I feel sorry for kids today who live far from extended family. I was so fortunate to have an aunt living nearby and it is something I just took for granted. Now I know how blessed I was and will always treasure the memories of all the times with my special Aunt Kay.

  3. We are sorry to hear about Great Aunt Kay. We remember our trips to Olean to visit grandma Jennie with our mom and dad (Dave & Katie) always included a stop at Aunt Kay’s . There was always lively conversation and delicious Italian meatballs. We remember her great laugh and beautiful smile. Your mom was a wonderful lady. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

  4. Aunt Kay had a warm and loving heart. I met her for the first time after driving to Ft. Wayne to see my grandma Grace, Aunt Kay’s sister. My grandma had loving words for her sister and Aunt Kay’s passing will make her very sad in her new home in Austin, TX with my Aunt Barbara, Aunt Kay’s niece. My condolences to the whole Scutella faimily. Aunt Kay was warm, loving, had a good sense of humour And will be missed.

  5. I first met Grandma in her kitchen in Olean, where she was presiding over her famous sauce and meatballs. She later taught me how to make those delicious dishes in her kitchen in Spencerport. She joked about us being Irish girls making Italian food. She taught me and all the kids to play Kings in the Corner, and beat us all soundly. And she never failed to tell me she loved me and that I was one of her own, nevermind if it was through marriage. She will be dearly missed.

  6. Heaven welcomed your mother with open arms! She was truly an inspiration to me in the way she lived her life in faith, family & friends. She always prayed for my son, those prayers are forever in my memories of her. I consider myself blessed to have known this special lady. My condolences to Kathy and all family members.

  7. Cathy,
I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  8. I was so blessed to have the friendship of Kay. We had many memories made with Christmas parties, end of the school year parties, and many girlfriend times together. I will miss Kay’s delicious pumpkin bars she made for different occasions. i talked with her last week and mentioned to her i couldn’t wait for those bars at Christmas again. God Bless you Kay. My sympathy’s and love to beautiful Catherine Hoffman and her children and grandchildren.

  9. I saw my Aunt Kay only a few times growing up, but she was always kind and cheerful. Bless you, Cathy, on the loss of your mother……I am praying for you and your family. You have had two losses in a short time, and my heart goes out to you. May angels surround you and comfort you at this time. Be gentle with yourself and know that you are not alone. Others are sending love and praying for you.

  10. We are so sorry to hear of your grandmother’s passing. This has been a difficult year for your family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

  11. Kay was one of the sweetest, most loving women I’ve ever known. We all wish we could be as amazing a mother, aunt, grandmother and friend as you were. You will be sorely missed by many.
