  1. sonia wooden Hi grandpa…i miss you and will always keep you in my heart until we meet again. i know you’re with Tasha and Sammy watching over us. My memories of you include you loving to talk and have company, you loved to dance and how could i not mention the “five dollar” cards 🙂 Im glad you are finally at peace….love sonia I think no matter where you stray, That I shall go with you a way. Though you may wander sweeter lands, You will not forget my hands, Nor yet the way I held my head Nor the tremulous things I said. You will still see me, small and white And smiling, in the secret night, And feel my arms about you when The day comes fluttering back again. I think, no matter where you be, You’ll hold me in your memory And keep my image there without me, By telling later loves about me. Dorothy Parker

  2. Shaina R Avery Relation to Deceased: Granddaughter Rest in peace Grandpa! I love you and miss you! You will always be in my heart. See you soon. Love, Shaina I think no matter where you stray, That I shall go with you a way.

  3. Mark Steves Relation to Deceased: delivered meals to him To the family: I’m sorry for your loss. I delivered meals to Charlie every so often for the last few years. He was my favorite. He always called me “boss”. He probably called everyone that. It was always nice to talk to him. He was always in a good mood. It was sad to see his obit in the paper. He was a sweet man and I’ll miss him.

  4. Linda Bach Relation to Deceased: friend of family member Dear Diane and Family, I remember sharing stories about our Dads when we worked together at AT&T, and the many fond memories you will now have in your heart will be priceless. In our generation & heritage, a strong loving father showed his affection by proviiding for his family through his work & accomplishments. His childrens’ successes were the reward.. You have given that gift to him! With love and sincere sympathy, Linda Bach

  5. Kristy D Picardo Relation to Deceased: granddaughter I know grandpa is in heaven. He lived his life devoted to God. He did so much for us with the only expectation is that you do good in school so you can get a good job. Grandpa was strict with me growing up but always encouraging. He believed in me and he told me often. “Kristy, Honest to God, I knew you could do it, I am proud of you” When he was sick he would tell me that he was doing good and not to worry about him. He never wanted to be fussed over and if he was scared he didn’t want us to know. I know you are in a better place Grandpa, with no more illness and no more suffering. I will miss you. Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, far as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart.

  6. John H Holt Relation to Deceased: son in law Theres only one in a kind if I can go back in time I would take all of the memories but instead there in my heart thanks to God for blessing me to be a part of their life. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  8. Diane M Grimes Relation to Deceased: Daugther Dad, You were one of those hard working fathers that always got your way. Your words were the law in our home. I used to hear you but I never thought you were already teaching me one of the most valuable lessons in life, working hard for what you want and what you believed in. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. As I grew older, I slowly understood why you treated us like that. And I also discovered that you were a very compassionate and kind person. I learned that the most important thing that you had was us, your six children. Though you may never have said it out loud I know that you were really proud of what we your children Sammy, Phyllis, Geraldine, Diane, Charles, and Rosemary have become. We are who we are now because we had a father like you. I remember when we were little you found the time to build us a library of memories of our childhood by taping with a Kodak moving camera. You spent the time to capture the most important times in our lives. We now cherish and share those memories with our children. You shared your kindness with your friends and were always ready to help. You always had a solution to every problem and ways of making things simple. You showed strength until the end and still had some enlightening words for us, Stay positive and believe. Dad I promise that I will continue what you have started. I know I’ll be filling huge shoes but with the help of my love ones I think I can do it. We need to remember everything that you shared with us. And let’s be happy that you are now resting in peace with our Lord. Dad I will carry you in my heart always….love you. Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what’s to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay… Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey’s quicker, For some the journey’s slow. And when the journey finally ends, we’ll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the lord ~Author Unknown The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. 10. charles s lentine Relation to Deceased: grandson We thought of you with love today, But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, And the days before that, too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories, And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, With which we’ll never part. God has you in His Keeping. We have you in our Heart. I think no matter where you stray, That I shall go with you a way. Though you may wander sweeter lands, You will not forget my hands, Nor yet the way I held my head Nor the tremulous things I said. You will still see me, small and white And smiling, in the secret night, And feel my arms about you when The day comes fluttering back again.
