  1. Robin L. Hood Relation to Deceased: Friend I met Chris for the first time in Myrtle Beach South Carolina on what became our annual golf trip for many years. Chris was invited by Don Cuneo who knew Chris in NY. From the first Chris was loved by all of us from Maryland, I respected the man, he was careing, warm, and sincere. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, and was fun to be around. My thought and prayers go out to all of the family whom he spoke of so often on our trips, Chris deeply loved his family and it was evident! All of us in Maryland sent our warmest regards, in this time of sorrow! Robin Hood The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  2. Paul Sadlon Relation to Deceased: friend To the Bice family, I was very saddened to read the notice of Chris’ passing. I will always remember the good times we had during LFHS football and track days. But my greatest memory of Chris was his unforgettable performance as the Cowardly Lion in his school play, he was a great guy and will be missed greatly. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. An Old Irish Blessing

  3. Nanette M Martuscello-Scogin Yes, Bob Casullo, he was a LION…remember when, in the “Wizard of Oz.” My memory of him was a pleasant one. I am sorry that his family has lost him. As a nurse, I’m sure that he was courageous throught out his illness. Bless his family and those who loved him.

  5. lynn moore Relation to Deceased: friend I will always cherish the memories of the years I babysat for Chris and Barb for the girls, over the years Chris’s advice, guidance, joking and smiles made a huge impression on me as a teen. He was one of my biggest role models in my life. I always admired his relationship with his daughters, and most importantly with Barb. He made me feel a part of his family from the beginning, and even when I didnt see them for awhile if we ran into each other it was like I saw him the day before..He will be sadly missed , never forgotten. May he be at peace and watch over his family to guide them during this rough time….Prayers and thoughts to all of you…much Love…… As we look back over time We find ourselves wondering ….. Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ….. To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We’re thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us.

  15. Brenda Ovando Relation to Deceased: Friend I spent so much of my awkward teen years at the Bice’s, I even speak somewhat the same as they all do. I never realized this until I brought my teenage daughter over to Kristine’s house one day and she whispered to me “Ma!!! You and Kris talk exactly the same!” Well, of course I speak like the Bice Family! Who else would this shy teenager copy back-in-the-day but this family of extroverted awesomeness?! But you know, we all really were trying to be like Mr. Bice. I remember when the word “raunchy” came back in style in the ’90’s…hahahaha! He used every excuse to tell us something hilarious and use the word “raunchy.” He taught me about the Beatles, how to genuinely belly-laugh and most of all, what it was to be an American Family. It was all so casual and fun. Mr. and Mrs. Bice would flirt and joke and, oh, what an example of love, communication and compromise in the era of easy divorce. Yes, he indulged Kristine and I during our heavy metal and grunge days, he sometimes even stuck around in the livingroom when we were obsessed with the soap opera “General Hospital.” He even gave me a huge hug as a pregnant late teenager, something that made me cry with appreciation at that time of harsh judgments and criticizing stares. We even had my baby shower at the Bice home. I was always welcomed with open arms. The winter holiday season was an all out Bice affair— Italian food galore, gifts and love. I always stopped by. Mr. Bice always would emerge with a huge smile and hug and a surprise for my young daughter. A fantastic man with three daughters. What lucky ladies to have such dynamic, loving and present dad. My adolescent past is full of happy moments and memories, despite being some of most inner awkward times—and most of that is due to my friendship with Kristine and her family. A man who inspired laughter and joy in everyone he met, how fortunate we all are to know him in our own ways. I hold all of your hands in my heart, my dearest friends in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Bice (Barbara), Kristine, Steph, Michelle, Brian… the suffering will pass but the powerful joy will always remain. I am grateful for every moment.

  16. Bob Casullo Relation to Deceased: Friend To the family of Chris Bice, I can’t tell you how sad I am to hear of Chris’s passing. Although many of us high school mates have lost touch through the years our bonding and friendship from our Little Falls days can never be forgotten. I want you all to know that forever in my mind and memeory, Chris was a LION of a man and friend. My deepest sympathy, Bob Casullo The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before.
