Connie M. Giacalone (nee Papagni) Greece: Passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 96. Connie was the beloved wife of 60 years of the late Arthur P. Giacalone, and cherished mother of Linda (Brian) Matthews, Arthur J., and David Giacalone. She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Blake Matthews, Timothy (Brandy) Matthews, Kara (Paul) LaFrance, Lissa (Timothy) Montgomery, and James Giacalone; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Addie, Connor, and Mally; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lucie Joseph, Grace Papagni, Jack Papagni, and Isabelle Cristo. Connie spent decades as a member and volunteer at Holy Family parish in Rochester, NY, and in later years at St. Theodores in Gates, NY. She worked for decades at McCurdy's department store and resided since 2017 at the Legacy independent living facility in Greece, NY. Connie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am Saturday, May 27th at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
