Many condolences to family and friends. I knew Dan mostly on a social and professional level. Dan was always good for a story and conversation. Our shared interest in automotives was appreciated. But most of all, Dan was a reassurance that all was still good with the world. I’m still shocked, but hopeful that his lasting impression on all who were a part of his life will take his positivity and make it their own.
My heart is absolutely broken over the loss of such a genuine, kind, and special individual. There are so few in this world like Dan and it dimmed a little the moment he left it. It will never be the same.
Kristen & Pat, I am so sorry for your loss. Dan and Barb are forever around us and I like to think they are both up there together, reunited with lots of hugs, kisses and laughs. They will always be your guardian angels and watching over you.
Kristen, the bond you had with your brother was beautiful. I remember once driving home from Boston with him and talking about how much we both adored and loved you. He was so proud of you! You two were best friends and I admired the close relationship you guys had. You guys would do anything for each other. You always felt that love in the presence around you two. Very few siblings can say they have that special of a connection. It speaks volumes to who you both are as people. I love you and Dan will truly be forever missed, but always remembered.
We are so devastated to hear about the loss of Dan. He was a great guy who always placed soooooo many smiles on everyone’s faces. We were grateful enough to see you and say goodbye the day before you headed back to New York but we never thought it would be the last goodbye. This is heartbreaking but we are so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to be friends with someone who was so kind and open hearted. We send our strongest condolences to the family. I can’t imagine the pain of losing someone so amazing, the world will truly be darker without his bright smile. He will be missed so much!
We are heartbroken for your family to hear about Dan’s death. Our prayers are with you for comfort and strength and that sweet memories of Dan push the deep grief from your hearts.
I am very sorry to hear this news about such a great guy. Mostly I knew him as a student and a colleague. Unfortunately, I have not seen Dan for several years, but I first met him nearly 20 years ago when he enrolled in a class about the history and theory of architecture I was teaching at the Boston Architectural College. I first knew him as an excellent student, and it was clear that we shared a love for the fascinating history of architecture. He was one of my most interested and conscientious students. Around the same time, he also began working as a designer at the architecture firm where I worked in Boston, so I got to know him better there on a professional and personal level. Although we never ended up becoming close friends, we respected one another and over time I discovered that Dan was a really equable, genuine, honest, gentleman as well as a complete professional. I just wanted his family and friends to know that he was very respected professionally and as a colleague and he will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Sorry for your loss. I worked with Dan for many years at HVMA. He was a gentleman with a creative spirit; always the entrepreneur. He will be missed.
