W. Henrietta: June 1, 2026. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Daniel Annechino & Josephine Montinarelli, and stepfather, Sam Montinarelli. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jennifer Chasser; children, Anthony (Deanne) Annechino & Kristin (Al) Vulaj; grandchildren, Matthew Annechino, Nicholas Annechino, Kyle Peters, Miranda Peters; sister, Ro (Steve) Werth, David Annechino, Cora (Mike) DiNapoli, Sammy Montinarelli; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
Dan grew up in Rochester, NY but lived in San Diego, CA for many years in the sunshine and near the ocean. Dan was a fan of the San Diego Padres and the Buffalo Bills. He found his passion of writing books later in his life, publishing many great novels. He worked several years in the car business early in his career, and later worked for San Diego Gas and Electric, where he stayed until his retirement. In his later years he moved back home to his roots in Rochester to be closer to his family. Dan’s unique sense of humor and wit will be missed.
Dan’s funeral service will be celebrated, Thursday, June 4th, 11 AM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in Dan’s memory.
