Dave had this way of making everyone around him feel good. He gave the best hugs and I could listen to his laugh all day. He was my brother and I am going to forever miss him. Rest in peace sweet Dave. I love you.
Dearest Dave, you had an unbelievable heart and my faith reassures me that you are in a better place with those who have gone before. You will live on in memories and in the face of your son, Dimitri. Blessed be old friend~
Dave was always a very good friend, influence and band mate. His sense of humor, generosity and the brightness of his soul are now an indelible part of who I am. You are loved and missed forever.
Only my fellow MPB classmates will understand when I say that when I think of Dave I think of the Tate twist, banana hour and how the girls in our class wanted “The Way We Were” as our class song, while the boys were pushing for “The Bible Tells Me So”. I’m sure my classmates will agree that those are very fond memories, and that they can remember Dave, with that mischievous smile right in the middle of it with Chicks, John, DiNitto and the rest of the gang. We lost touch after MPB, but based on the stories I’ve heard over the last week, it appears that although his life was cut way too short, that he lived his years to the fullest. He pursued his dreams and spent his time doing what he was truly passionate about. We can all certainly learn from that. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
Dave, we will truly miss you deeply. You touched our hearts, as you did so many others, with pure kindness, and Love. I will forever be grateful for that, and keep a special place in my heart for you. To your wonderful family…Dad, Mom, Paula, Tara, Addison, and Dimitri…remember that our Loved Ones are never really gone, as long as we keep our cherished memories of them alive. God Bless you my brother…your forever friend…”Helen”.
You are the most charismatic, warmest, jovial souls I have ever come across in this life time!! I am forever grateful that we were in each others lives- the good the bad the ugly… ALL OF IT!!! I wouldn’t take any of it back!! This will hurt forever , but I promise to stay strong!!
Thank you so much for touching my heart and sharing a life with me that was so rich of life and emotions. You were my most favorite roller coaster partner ever!! I can not to be back in your arms!! I love and miss you forever! And when we find each other again, I promise to never let you go!!!
Play the funky music, white boy!!! You will be My Davaroni, My Number 1 Lover FOREVER!!!!
Bring us peace and sleep well forever my love… I love SO much forever!
To live in hearts that love is not to die. David you were loved by so many people. Your great spirit and the memorable and meaningful times shared with you will live on in the hearts of many and that includes me. Your music and your songs live on. Love aways, your cousin Patti
I remember the day your mom and dad brought you home. I was siitting on your front porch steps waiting for you. I helped mom bring you in. We laid you on the kitchen table and checked you head to toe. You were a beautiful baby. I have many memories of you growing up. You will always be in my heart. I know God has you in a safe place
When I heard this sad news I immediately thought about our childhood spent together as classmates, neighbors and close friends. David was charming, charismatic, funny, musical, handsome, and genuine. My sympathy goes out to the D’Ambra family and all who loved David.
David you will always be in our memories and our hearts. The years at Rockview Terrace are great memories we will always cherish. Our deepest sympathy to Ernie, Marie & Paula. Love, Joe & Fran, Bobby & Kim, Bob & Kathy.
I am so very saddened and sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. Ernie & Marie – my heart and thoughts go out to you and your family. The lifelong memory I have always carried with me about Dave was the day he called me and told me to come over because he just got a new album that was “life changing” (we were in 7th/8th grade). We sat in his room and listened to “Rocks” from Aerosmith about 8 times in a row! Through all these years, whenever I hear an Aerosmith song, I think of Dave. And now, that will carry an even stronger meaning for me.
“Sing with me, sing it for the year
Sing for the laughter and sing for the tear
Sing with me, if it’s just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away”
David-we didn’t know you personally, but know you as family. May our precious Lord have welcomed you with open arms and grant you divine rest and peace.
Uncle Ernie, Aunt Marie & Paula, We are deeply saddened by your loss and we pray for that you will find comfort in the days ahead. We love you! Sam, Beverly Simone & Family
Dave I only wish we could have known you better. Paula, Ernie, Marie, Dimitri, Tara, and Denise I am so sorry for your sudden loss. I pray you find comfort in one another and in the outpouring of love for Dave and your Family! Dave is lucky to come from such good people. He is like all of you, infectious and leave us all wanting more time and closeness. The giving open nature of Ernie and Marie obviously was instilled in their children and is already apparent in their grandchildren. Dave will live on through the memories you hold and the love you share with each other and his son Dimitiri. We Love You!
You were always a sweet boy growing up on Rockview and turned into a sweet man. You are in good company and playing your music in heaven. Rest peacefully. Love Lisaz
Paula: May God bless your family and you and may He give you the strength to be strong for your Nephew. Rather than sending flowers, I donated to your Nephew’s music/college fund. I’ll be keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. With all my love, Linda
Dave,
You are now in the care of Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Carole and Uncle Frank (my dad). We will miss you terribly but I know that, someday, we will all meet again. Until then, rest well.
Love, JoAnn
