April 3, 2017. David is predeceased by his brother Dywayne K. Kupka; survived by his wife Roxanne (Sortino) Kupka; son, Kolton Kupka; parents, Dennis & Sylvia (Waliczek) Kupka; siblings, Debbie (Norm) Bale & Dennis Kupka, II; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, mother- in- law, Connie Schils; father- in- law, Robert Schils; brother -in - law, Charlie Sortino; sister- in- law, Kris Bovee nee Sortino; brother-in-law, Benny Sortino Jr. and his spouse Chris Sortino; and many dear friends.
David's visitation will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9 at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). His funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha St., Spencerport, immediately followed by his burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. David was born on November 22, 1974 to Dennis & Sylvia Kupka. He was born Batavia, NY and grew up in Albion, NY with two siblings, Debbie & Dennis. During his youth, David loved ATV riding and cars, especially Firebird's. He was very hardworking and joined the U.S. Marines. David served in the military from 1994-1999. As a profession, he worked as an Electroformer at Orafol Precision Technology Solutions.
David met Roxanne at Slow Club in Medina. They married on September 21 in 2002 at St. John's Evangelist Church in Spencerport. David and Roxanne went on to have a son, Kolton.
During his free time, David loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed swimming, camping and having fun at amusement parks. David had an interest in science, history and was a Star Wars fan. Some of his favorite T.V. shows were Jeopardy, The Walking Dead and Bates Motel. David was a Buffalo Bills football fan and he enjoyed listening to classic rock music.
He was known to have a good sense of humor and appreciated the simple things in life. David was very patriotic and easy going, as he didn't let things bother him. David was a wonderful son, sibling, husband, father, and friend. He contributed greatly to his country and will be remembered always in the hearts of his family and friends. David will be deeply missed by many who knew and loved him.
