Wow, what a fantastic story about Dave and an awesome tribute video. Dave was a great guy and fun to work with. I still remember the day when the West Avenue Engineering group were all brought into our auditorium to tell us that we were being acquired by ABB. With a little bit of humor, his words were serious, but to the point: “There is a train coming, get on board, or get run over”. He and Bob Daniel did their best to keep our group together and many of us survived due to their inspiration and positive attitude. I know I owe my long 37 year career with Taylor/Combustion Engineering/ABB, to keep me employed during some of those darker days of cutbacks. He was so much fun as a cubicle mate near the end of his career… and fun to golf with. ⛳️ Taking up a new hobby, he became the expert and my golf coach, giving lessons outside at lunch time at the ABB John Street office. My golf game did not improve much, but, but we had a great time, when he joined our Thursday night Golf league, including midnight golf.
I am sure he will be missed by all his extended family and numerous friends.
