Rochester, NY – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 72. David was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Doris (Gentile) Prince; his grandparents, Libbie and Gabriel Gentile, Marion and Robert Prince; and his infant sister, Sharon Prince. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Prince; his grandchildren, Jay and Ivy; and his many siblings: Sharon (Lee) Hemmerich of Florida, Patricia Ladd of Florida, Sandra Prince of Florida, Gary Prince, Gail (Richard) Simons, Michael (Eileen) Prince, Daniel (Tara) Prince, Carol Prince (Dave Pullaro) of Florida, Kristine (Steve) Brickler, and Lynn (Jeff) Knauf, and his very dear family friends, Brittany, Bria Rose and Ty’Zae. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends, who will miss him greatly.

David proudly served his country in the United States Army as a paratrooper and was stationed in Korea. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a sheet metal worker with dedication and pride. David will be remembered for his quick wit, hilarious sense of humor, and his musical and artistic talents.

There will be no prior calling hours. Dave’s funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 20th, 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Followed by he being laid to rest 1 PM at Western New York National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Road, Corfu, NY 14036.
