Dave was not just my closest cousin but my brother and best friend. He will be dearly missed. My he rest in peace.
My deepest sympathies to the family. John
I first met Dave ( and MaryAnn) when I had David Jr as a student, in 1975 at Warren Harding. Then I had Vicki and Michelle. Always a wonderful and supportive man. A wonderful father. (!our lives connected again when David Jr married my cousin, Carla. Small world!)
I’ve been fortunate to have known Dave and his family. I will always remember this smile when we would meet. He will be missed by all who knew him!
Prayers and love to the entire. Vaccaro family.
We were privileged to have Mr. Vaccaro with us on Honor Flight Rochester Mission 71, May 21-22nd. His service to our country was recognized and he was appropriately welcomed home. Sincere condolences to the Vaccaro family.
Very respectfully,
Bruce Philpott

To my Papa, and the very first David Joseph Vaccaro.
As I write this, I’m flooded with all of the memories over the years. All of the cookouts, holidays, and gatherings we shared.
All of the long road trips to baseball games where even a lot of my former teammates were on the receiving end of your cheers. You were always one of our biggest fans.
I always cherished these moments with you. It has meant the world to me having you and gram by my side my entire life and career.
As I grow older, I notice a lot of your character traits in myself.
A man of life’s simple pleasures like a game of cards, a relentless competitor, and above all else- a fiercely loyal and passionate family member and friend.
We will miss you so much, but there will always be a piece of you with me as I carry on the legacy you started.
Thank you for all that you have done for us. Love you forever,
