Mrs. D was always warming and kind. She treated me like family from day 1 meeting her when I worked for Vinnie at the ice cream shop. She used bring me her sauce in a quart ice cream container so I could have it at my apartment. My parents moved out of town when I was in high school and Mrs. D & the rest of the family invited me for Thanksgiving one year. The kindest and hardest working family you’ll ever meet. I will truly miss you Mrs. D. I know you are in heaven now, but we will all remember the smiles and joy you brought myself and many many other people.

I was so saddened to read the passing of “Dee” Dinolfo. My parents treasured Dee and her husband, Norman for many years. Both families owned Carvel ice cream stores in the past. I will always have the fondest memories of going out to dinner with Dee and Norman, both blessed memories and the best people on earth! May they both rest in peace!
