We always enjoyed Dominic’s wonderful smile at Mass, and we really appreciated what a caring friend he was to Etienne and Bereket. They loved his sense of humor and talking about Minecraft with him. Our hearts and prayers are with you, sending you comfort.
To the Family of Dominic Cook: I read of the loss of your dear loved one, and I would like to extend my sincere condolences. Although we suffer, there is comfort from our loving Heavenly Father, in that He promises us a hope. Our Creator (Psalm 83:18) ‘yearns’ to reunite children with their parents by means of a resurrection, and lovingly has made provision to do so (John 3:16). Please, take a few moments to read John 5:25-29; Job 14:14,15. Also at Luke 7:11-15 Jesus demonstrated what the resurrection would mean for young children. When this resurrection takes place, imagine how overjoyed you could be when you are reunited with Dominic again! May the promises of Our Creator, bring comfort to your grieving hearts (2 Corinthians 1:3,4; Philippians 4:6,7,13). With deepest respect and sympathy.
For a short period of time, I was Dominic’s school bus driver when he went to Quest Elementary School. He always had a smile on his face and helped bring smiles to so many others, I know he made me smile countless times. My heart breaks for you, and I will pray for you that God will bring you all strength to get through these difficult times. I wish you the very best.
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have a grandson Dominic’s age. I can’t begin to imagine what you’re going through. I don’t know what I’d do if anything happened to him. I do know God has a special angel. He is now with my infant grandson who passed away in 2007.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless each and every one of you.
We are so sad for you. Dom was such a sweet kid. We will never know why God would send you such an angel and then take him back so soon
May love surround you and give you peace.
Words do no suffice to paint the sorrow in my heart for the Cook family.
My little cousin was taken way too early yet the joy in his heart will live on.
Although the anguish is deep in my soul I will try in my simple ways to be a warm light to those around little Domenic, God shower the family with grace and love

Louis, Melissa, Philip, Lily and family so very sad about Dominic’s tragic passing and your loss of your wonderful boy. In the years Dominic was in our class at Quest with Scott and I he was kind to everyone, he had a beautiful heart and smile, was a good friend to his peers, worked hard, and he touched our hearts! Know you are in my thoughts and prayers for your comfort and peace. Sending you all hugs.
Love,
Heidi
To my Quest Rock-N-Read buddy — You’ll never know how your beautiful spirit touched my heart. I pray for your family and know you will be welcomed in Heaven.
To the family of Dominic, our heart felt condolences. We are greatly saddened by your loss. Dominic was very special and I am so happy that I got to meet him and spend time with him. He was full of life and smiles. Dominic was very polite and I enjoyed our time together. My GOD give you comfort during this time. With all of our love, Allen & Toddi Darlington, Kosha’s mom and dad
Melissa and Lou I am so thankful that you shared Dominic with our family. His young life was able to touch our hearts and our children’s heart so deeply. Your son gave Brendon so much joy and laughter. He was exactly what you want in a friend for your child. Brendon will miss having his buddy to laugh, make movies with and to try new things with. You are all in our prayers.
I am so heart broken for you Melissa and your entire family. Even though I did not know Dom personally, he was, I’m certain, a wonderful little innocent individual. May he rest with the angels now. I’m so very very sorry for your loss.
I never met Dominic, but we are neighbors (we are across the street at the corner of Jonquil). Just recently he came over to our house with Christian and Julia and jumped on our trampoline with all the kids. We are all heartbroken for your loss, along with everyone else involved and affected. Please know that your family has been in our thoughts and prayers this week, and we will think of your sweet boy every day.
I had the opportunity to meet Dominic this past Saturday as I walk my large white dog on Flynn road almost daily. Dominic was walking toward us and Pedey didn’t jump on him and Dominic said to me ” I love your dog” I said thank you and thought to myself what a sweet hearted boy!! My heart and prayers go to Dominic’s family
The entire Cook family are in our thoughts and prayers during this hard time. We are going to truly miss seeing Dominic at church. He was always very polite and sweet.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cook family. Dominic has truly been one of my favorite students to work with. He had a heart of gold, smiles from ear to ear, and a mischievous giggle that was contagious. I feel that I have been blessed to have been one of his teachers and he will always have a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathy.
We will miss Dominic riding home with us on bus 36. May God bless his family and friends with Peace comfort and strength at this very, very sad time. Rest in peace with Jesus Dominic! Miss Sue
Lou & Melissa and family,

i am deeply sorry for your loss. May God be with you and your family, may you find peace along the way. Knowing the loss of a child and all the years that could have been. There are no words that can be said. Please know if you need anything or if I can do anything, don’t hesitate. God Bless everyone!!
I had the privilege of being Dominic’s bus attendant this past summer. He was such a joy. Every morning his smile would light the bus. He was so kind and caring, I loved hearing all of his stories and we often talked about our love for camping. Dominic had a passion for life that was contagious. One of my favorite things is how he would always be so excited to have lunch with his mom, witch consisted of him face timing her to eat lunch with her. He would be so excited, and I would always think that I could only hope my own son would ever be that excited to do anything with me,let alone eat lunch. I am so very sorry for your families loss and am praying for all of you.
As a mother who has also lost a child I understand the depth of your pain. I’m so sorry you are going through this and want you to know that you are in my prayers. Be gentle and kind to yourself . Take time to process this life changing event. Please feel free to contact me if you need someone who understands. God Bless
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your lose. i didn’t know Dominic and I don’t know his family, but as a former Rochesterian who lost my kid brother when he was 8, I can understand your grief.

To Dominic’s family and friends,
Words can not express the sadness we feel at this loss. Dominic was always smiling, always helpful, always friendly and always energetic.
Dom and Matthew had been school buddies since 1st grade and always got along so well. I had the pleasure of working with him many times over the years, as a substitute in QUEST Elementary School. There is a piece missing in all of our hearts as the light that was Dominic, has gone out.
Our sincere condolences.
I am incredibly sorry for each and every one of you, each friend and every relative. I went to QUEST from third grade up until I graduated in 2014. Learning about this terribly unfortunate event was a very sad aspect; I didn’t know Dominic personally, but I certainly recall talking to him whenever I’d see him in the hallway. He was always full of energy and life and was incredibly friendly and joyous, and while I can most certainly understand the love you had for him, I can barely imagine what you are all going through right now. My most sincere condolences,
Sophia Triassi, HHS
