Donald C. Kelly HILTON - July 27, 2019. Donald is preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Kelly; mother, Virginia Johnson; and sister, Judy Johnson. He is survived by wife, Kelly Lee Kelly; daughter, Mary (Michel) Pelletier; grandson, Ziyad ElOuardighini; sisters, Kathleen (Paul) Meyer, Dorothy Kelly; brothers, Norman Kelly, Robert (Stacey) Johnson; Many Dear Nieces, Nephews, Cousins Dear Friends; Beloved Cats, Peipei, Red Storm; Grandpets, Beatrice, Rosalie Frosty. Donald's life story will be shared during his visiting hours, Thursday, August 1st, 2-4 7-9 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) his Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday, August 2nd, 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment in Riverside Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to KAT, Animal Shelter, 62 Gorton Ave., Hilton, NY 14468 in Donald's memory. Donald was known for his sense of humor and loved to laugh. Disney movies were a favorite as well as visiting the parks and riding the Aerosmith Rocking Roller coaster. He enjoyed Sci-fi books, playing games like, Euchre, Pictionary, Uno and also loved video games. He was an NCIS History Channel watcher, as far as music he liked Aerosmith Billy Joel. He thought the jousting wenches were fun to watch at the Renaissance Festival. As a youth, Donald was on the wrestling and swim teams and participated in Chess Club. After graduating he had a 28 year career at Eastman Kodak. He met his wife Kelly there, where they had a 12 year courtship, finally tying the knot in June of 2011. Donald loved having family dinners and also enjoyed eating at the Hilton Diner with Kelly. Baking goodies like cookies, pies brownies was something you'd find Donald doing in his spare time. Chocolate peanut butter were among his favorite flavors. More than just about anything, he loved going to the zoo with his grandson, Ziyad. He could always count on a gift ice cream every time. He was a kid at heart, but very knowledgeable. He always paused and thought before he answered a question. As a person, Donald was giving, loyal and honest.
