It is so hard to loose a loved one, especially such a special man as my Uncle Ed. His humor was untouchable….he had an answer for everything and NEVER SHY ABOUT SUPPLYING IT. He was a loving presence in my children’s lives. He became like a grandfather to them after their grandfather and his brother passed. We will miss him so much. God Bless you Uncle Ed.
I have many memories of my Uncle Ed from the time I was very small out in our house in the country. He always seemed so much larger than life. I still remember when he and Julian came and painted our new house in Webster after we moved in the late 60’s. He was always the guy that everyone went to when there was something that needed a handy man. I know he did painting on the side as so many teachers did and so he was the one we called. He did things with colors that amazed us. He was inspired. And I will never forget him. I didn’t realize that Aunt Louise had passed away also, so this was a double shock. They were the last land lines of their generation; and I will miss them greatly. Just knowing they were around was a comfort, and now that is gone. I know the heavenly welcome must have been HUGE. The Kaiser Kids are all home again!
