Kaufman, Edward J. Rochester: October 8, 2015. Edward is predeceased by his father, Edward E. Kaufman. He is survived by his mother, Lee M. Kaufman; brother, Robert (Ethel) Kaufman; sisters, Theresa Kaufman, Rosemarie (Thomas) Bryan; several nieces nephews, cousins and dear friends. No prior visitation. Edward's funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM at the funeral home. No interment. Please omit flowers. Edward was born on September 26, 1961. During his childhood he enjoyed riding mini bikes and played goalie for his hockey team. When Edward was a teenager he loved music, especially Rock Roll, Southern Rock and artists like Lynard Skynard and Neil Young. Edward was an exceptional craftsman as he worked doing house siding, roofing and deck building. He had many hobbies such as playing pool, hiking, enjoying the outdoors, fishing with his friend Lou and spending time at LV Automotive. Edward was warm, thoughtful, empathetic and well liked. He was social, handy, had a big heart and a creative mind. Family was the most important to Edward, he also loved animals, was known as "Uncle Eddie" to his family and had a very close relationship with his mother, Lee. Edward will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends and he will always be dearly missed.
