It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eh Ler Tha on August 11, 2025, at the age of 27, after a courageous battle with liver cancer.

Eh is predeceased by his beloved mother, Bue Say. He is survived by his devoted wife, Bwey Paw; cherished six-month-old son, Jiriaiya Tha; loving father, Law Klay; and dear sisters, Emma, Moo, See, and Reeya.

Eh moved to the United States at the age of 10, embracing a new life while remaining deeply connected to his heritage. He worked diligently as both a sushi chef and a machine operator, earning the respect and admiration of his coworkers. Above all, Eh was a loving husband, father, son, and brother, known for his kindness, generosity, and warm spirit toward family and friends alike.

A funeral service to honor Eh’s life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Rochester Karen Baptist Church, 4997 W Ridge Rd, Spencerport, NY 14559. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, 2650 Lake Ave., Rochester, NY 14612.

Eh’s life, though far too short, touched the hearts of all who knew him, and his memory will remain a blessing to those he leaves behind.
