  4. Dear Tony, Joe and families, I tried within the last several Months to call your mom but didn’t get an answer. I feared something wasn’t right. Your dad and your mom were the salt of the earth. They took Lance and I under their wings and taught us so many life lessons as a young couple. Moving away from them was difficult, as they were the best neighbors anyone could ask for. They opened their home and their hearts to us and they were never forgotten. Your mom was a true renaissance woman. She persevered. I have such great memories
And have always held your.Parents close in my heart. God bless her and I send you strength and prayers through this difficult time. My heart is broken. With deepest sympathy, Sally Eruysal.

  5. I met Elfriede through my friend, Palma (her sister-in-law) & felt a connection from the start. Elfriede had once lived in Switzerland ( where my ancestors & some family are still there). We spoke German to each other & one time I brought my accordion to play some songs for her. She was a great hostess & always had some special goodies for our tea times together. She always spoke of her family – they were her heart. She was what I’d call “a real lady” & a sweetheart. Only hope I can live as long & graciously as she did. I know she will be missed by all who knew her. I feel lucky to have called her my friend. Peace & Love to all her family … and God’s comfort in her passing. Sincerely, JoAnn Kehrli- Merlau

  6. Many years ago, I met Elfriede. She lived a few doors down from us. She and I were or we pregnant at the same time. She with her son, and with my daughter Deana. She would give me vegetables from their garden every summer. Rest in peace in the arms of our Lord Elfriede.
