She was a member of a sewing club and she enjoyed crocheting. She enjoyed bingo, reading and completing word searches. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was independent, social and generous. Betty had a green thumb, she could always seem to take one plant and from it grow many other individual plants. For her age she showed surprising interest and ability in the computer, she maintained her own e-mail and could navigate the internet.
