It’s not an exaggeration to say that my life would not be the same if Frances Damico weren’t a part of it. I met Fran at a young age when I became friends with her children. I still remember the day I met her and to this day have never met another like her.
Fran had an unfailing faith, strong convictions and an unwavering sense of right and wrong AND she was not shy about telling you where you could use some improvement! But she didn’t just talk the talk, Fran always walked the walk. She taught by example and I have learned much from her over these many years, not the least of which was how to fold laundry! She would not impose her beliefs upon someone, unless of course you happend to sleep overnight on a Saturday…if you woke up in Frannie’s home on Sunday morning you better be ready to get out of bed, make yourself presentable and get ready to go to church! She, of course, would always follow up with a stop for lunch 🙂
I’ve known Fran and her family for over 40 years, her children are my dearest friends, I’ll truly miss her but I know her spirit will carry on through us all and we’ll never forget her. Goodbye Frances May
