As a kid, uncle Kiki always took time to visit with the kids, pretend he was taking our nose off our face, or doing math problems with us – whatever it was, he was always fun, and present, and such a great uncle. The last time I saw him a few years ago at Christmas at Marissa’s – he was really into Manchego cheese. he must have asked me 3 times what the name of it was, and then insisted I write it down for Aunt Nina. hilarious! I will miss you Uncle Kik – you leave a big hole in our family. All my love to Aunt Nina, Cindy, Louie and the kids.

My heart is broken for you and your family. I can’t believe Kiki and Don passed away 6 days apart. I know what you are feeling, especially after 61 years of marriage. Kiki was a great person and I have many wonderful memories of him that I will cherish. God bless you and your beautiful family.

Revelations 21:4 mentions “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” And in John 5:28, 29, the Mighty son of God, Jesus Christ promises that all those who are dead will hear his calling and come out of their tombs as they are resurrected. I hope these scriptures can bring you comfort as you hold on to the real hope of seeing your loved one again.
