Brumbaugh, Gail I. (Ennocenti) Penfield: June 22, 2016, at the age of 62. She is predeceased by her parents, Dominick Rose Ennocenti; sister, Arlene Ennocenti. Survived by her sisters, Loretta Ennocenti Rose Love; nieces nephews, Joelle (Elliott) Buckner, Stacey (Justin) Raines Matthew Love; many nieces, nephews cousins; many dear friends. To light a candle of remembrance, visit www.aliferemembered.com At age 5, Gail's neighborhood friends told her to get a milk bottle and "tap" it on her sister's head. That tap on the head, ended up with a shattered milk bottle and a lesson learned at a young age to be more careful. She grew up in the neighborhood near Most Precious Blood Church. She attended Most Precious Blood and St. John the Evangelist Elementary Schools and later graduated from Athena High School. She eventually earned a degree from St. John Fisher College. After graduation, she went to work at the University of Rochester where she devoted over 35 years, retiring as a facilities department dispatcher. She established many close relationships with her co-workers during this time. Gail looked forward to Christmas and made sure she bought everyone a gift. Every year she placed her Christmas tree up for the holiday. She very much enjoyed her time at the cottage on Port Bay and she loved to read and quilt. She had a loom that she made shag carpets for her family members with. She also was a member of the Black Friars and still has many friends from there today. Gail was "Born with a phone in her hand," always the communicator. She was selfless and a good teacher. She shared her knowledge with co-workers every day. She was also an advocate for rescuing animals and assisted PAWS rescue. She enjoyed her pets, who were her "babies." Gail's visitation will be held 2-5 PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM on Monday at St. John The Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Rd. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Paws Animal Shelter, 3371 Gaines Basin Rd, Albion, NY 14411 in Gail's memory.
