  1. A beautiful tribute to such a beautiful person. I can’t help but smile…knowing where she is right now and how happy she must be!
You are all in my heart and in my prayers,

  2. Our hearts are heavy with your loss. We may be out of town but you and your family are close in our hearts! May all the wonderful memories lift you up today and everyday! Love you guys

  3. Dear Dave and Family: I shall remember Gail from the Prayer Group and the time we shared. Our prayers are with the Wakefield family at this difficult time.

  4. Thank you Gail and Dave for welcoming me into your arms as a teenager while I learned about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through your love and openness. Your inclusion of June and me into your family truly gave us a sense of acceptance that every young person needs. As I grew older Gail was an example of how a Christian woman loves. She was also a wonderful role model of patience and unconditional love as a mom. Gail’s steadfastness and perseverance through years of PKD were unbelievable. In the midst of everything Gail never lost her sense of humor combined with strong convictions. Thank you, Gail, for all you taught me. My heart breaks at losing you and yet is joyfully consoled knowing you have met our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I’m sure when He saw you He smiled, wrapped His arms around you and said, “Welcome Home! Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:21,23

  5. To the Wonderful Wakefields, I wish to express my condolences to your entire family. I respect the family values and love that has radiated from all of you. Heaven just became a little more beautiful! God bless.

  6. We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

  8. Gail, I did not know you personally, but based on your children and grandchildren that I do know, I would have to say you were an amazing, loving woman who did a fantastic job raising and loving your family. Hopefully you are at peace in the arms of God.

  9. Dear Dave and Family, Prayers for you all at this difficult time. May God bless you.

  10. Gail, the warmth of your ever present smile will forever be in my heart. I will always be inspired by your love of Jesus. I am truly blessed to have such beautiful memories of you forever giving of yourself to your friends and family around you. Walk free with Jesus.
    Peace, Love, and Joy, Liz

  11. Gail, my most precious friend, I will miss you but you will always be in my heart. I love you forever…. Claire

  12. I remember meeting Gail at a football practice years ago, she had a big beautiful smile and was so happy being able to watch her grandsons. Our prayers are with your family. Rest in Peace

  13. We are very blessed to have know Mrs. Wakefield she always had a beautiful smile and always saw good in everything. She touched so many people lives and she will be greatly missed. Thoughts, prayers and much love to the entire Wakefield Family xoxo

  14. Heaven gained another Angel, give Jesus a hug for us and tell him thank you for letting us be a part of you and your families glorious life for so long.

  15. Gail has left such an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. I look into the faces of her children and grandchildren and see her and Dave. The legacy will continue into generations to come. I love thinking of her dancing with Jesus, free from pain, and smiling down on us all. Love all of the Wakefields. May you continue to find solace in Christ.

  16. Dear Dave, Kimmy and all Gail’s beloved children and grandchildren our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you but we are so grateful for that wonderfu hope Jesus gives us that we will all see her again on the streets of gold. When I was first saved God led me to Dave and Gail’s wonderful bible study and prayer meeting at their home, she was such and example of the love and patience of Jesus it was my great privilege to know and love this woman of God. Love and prayers to you all. Nancy and Larry Tschetter

  17. Gail always had a smile on her face. She took whatever the Lord sent her way without asking why. Her love for her Husband Dave, children and grandchildren was obvious to anyone close to the Wakefield family. Rest in peace.
