March 16, 2013. Survived by her sister, Sigita (Leonas) Tomkus; nieces, Milda Tomkus, Monika (Steve) Puodziunas, Daiva (Jeff) Fuerst; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Gaile's funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 12 PM at St. Stanislaus Church, 34 St. Stanislaus Street, Rochester. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Gaile had a Masters Degree and was employed at Eastman Kodak for over 30 years where she created many patents. She enjoyed travel in Austria, loved her nieces and was very supportive of her family which included caring for both of her parents. Some of her hobbies included using her artistic talents to create oil paintings, snow skiiing, and she loved animals. Some of her favorite things were Lithuanian music, Elvis Presley, music, she was an Audrey Hepburn, and an Andre Rieu fan. Those who knew Gaile would best describe her as generous, compassionate, and private. She will be greatly missed.
