  1. Ted & Debbie Knickerbocker Relation to Deceased: Father of Our Friend We were introduced to Giovanni through his son Salvatore (Sammy), when we were all in High School together. Right from the first day we met Giovanni, (we called him Mr ViaPiano) he was very warm and kind to all of us kids. My wife & I will always remember when living in our first apartment together Mr ViaPiano would come to visit us and bring us macaroni and fresh vegetables and sit and talk and have coffee with us. He was truely a very sweet & generous man. We are so sorry for your loss. I think no matter where you stray, That I shall go with you a way. Though you may wander sweeter lands, You will not forget my hands, Nor yet the way I held my head Nor the tremulous things I said. You will still see me, small and white And smiling, in the secret night, And feel my arms about you when The day comes fluttering back again. I think, no matter where you be, You’ll hold me in your memory And keep my image there without me, By telling later loves about me. Dorothy Parker

  2. Silvano D Orsi Relation to Deceased: Godson I was fortunate enough to know compare Giovanni since I was a little boy, and I will never forget him and his always friendly smile. He was a caring man and did a lot for me and my family and his memory will live on with us forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and all the Viapiano family in this time of sorrow, and I offer my family’s deepest and most sincere condolences. May God bless you. I think no matter where you stray, That I shall go with you a way. Though you may wander sweeter lands, You will not forget my hands, Nor yet the way I held my head Nor the tremulous things I said. 3. Ralph & Toni Vito Relation to Deceased: Friend My Dear Gina, Our hearts are saddend by your treasured loss. We do have beautiful memories of our friendship. You have ouir deepest sympathy with Love and Frienship. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  4. Larry DeMejo Relation to Deceased: friend I was blessed to know Giovanni and some of family through his grandson Eric, my dear friend and brother in Christ. I pray Paul’s prayer recorded in 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 on behalf of the entire family mourning Giovanni’s loss, most especially his faithful wife Gina: “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.” love, Larry The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  5. Antonia Carfagna Relation to Deceased: Dear Friend John is a dear friend to our family. We have fond childhood memories – John and his movie camera allowed us to capture all the good times! A man full of spirit, humor and compassion – he will be missed. John now enjoys a peaceful life – at rest and in company of the many friends that went before him. Condogliaze dalla Famiglia Carfagna. Safely Home I am home in Heaven dear ones: Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still; try to look beyond earth shadows, Pray to trust our Father’s will There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand: do it now, while life remaineth you shall rest in Jesus’ land When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; oh the rapture of that meeting, oh the joy to see you come!
