Mark D Howell Relation to Deceased: Grandson Grandma Howell, was the true Patriarch of the Howell family as we knew it. She was the Rock we could cling to in the storms of our lives. Her selfless love, kindness and caring soul often were what kept all of us together as a family. In hard times she was always there to lend a helping hand to any of her children. For some of us she was mother we never had, she teaching us right from wrong, sometimes with a stern hand but always with love. She praised us for our accomplishments, and consoled us in our tribulations. As we grew older many of us drifted away driven on the winds and tides of life, but Grandma was always there in our hearts and minds. Our children are taught many of the same lessons that grandma taught us. So when I look at them I know, Grandma may be gone but she will always be here.
Lynda Kubala Relation to Deceased: Aunt Gladys rest in peace. You will greatly missed by the hale kids. Every summer we could hardly wait to go to your house. How you managed your children plus us only god knows. You must be a angel. Lynda, Marcia, Doug Hale The butterfly emerges from its silken shell-
Linda Battaglia Relation to Deceased: long ago friend I remember Gladys from the 50’s.I’ve often thought of her…My mother and I spent a lot of time in her home-I believe we may have lived there for awhile. I recall walking to school with Vivien and Carol. My name is Linda (LePree) and my mom was Doris. I recall Gladys always cooking and talking..so much energy. She had so many children of her own, yet she gave much to my family. It’s as I look back that I see what a help she was to my mom..and for that I will always thank and remember her.
Faye Howell Relation to Deceased: Daughter-in-law Gladys was the BEST MOM anyone could have.. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Danielle L. Mendez Relation to Deceased: Great Granddaughter Grandma was always the best! I miss her already, and I hope that she is happy up there!
