  1. I know this is late, but I also didn’t know that Greg passed away until recently.

Greg and I worked together for over 6 years at the VOC. He was a good man, a good friend, and an amazing advocate for veterans. I’m very sad to hear my buddy passed, we haven’t seen each other for a while, but I hope he knew that I always loved the guy and cherished our friendship. RIP my friend, you will be missed.

  2. He was a very kind man that was very sharp. I met him through the VOC. He was a good mentor to me when I really needed one. The world lost a solid gold individual. Very sad and shocked to hear this. Jim B

  3. I was shocked to hear of Greg’s passing in the Saint Bonaventure alumni paper .he was a great friend throughout college and after. here’s a picture of him holding my bouquet at a friends wedding .he always made me laugh what a great spirit ! sorry so sorry for your loss to his family . love , Sue Maloney

  4. I heard about Greg’s passing just now from the St. Bonaventure alumni magazine. I was stunned. I was so happy though to see all the tributes here that say exactly what I would say about Greg: a stand up guy, always willing to help you out, and oh how he could make you laugh. We lost touch with each other after college, but I still remember his hysterical WSBU radio show with John Domino, his crazy antics to get any audience laughing, and the kindness he always showed, especially to me a lowly Frosh to his Junior status. A full-throated shout out and thank you to you Greg from me and all of your 4th West Dev Bonaventure buddies. — Tim McCormack

  5. Greg. I can’t believe this. You are and we’re a true angel of a person. Always made me laugh and we fought like sibling or best friends when we worked and even into our lives after. Our hilarious banter in messages back and forth were both common and random. You asked if I still had my silence of the lambs doll you gave me as a birthday present in 2009 – I said absolutely. I have always cared deeply for you and will deeply miss you. I know you loved your boys 🐈 and your family so so much. I will miss you dearly. -Nichole (Niki)

  8. Greg was a friend to everyone! He genuinely cared about people! He LOVED the VOC! Tom Cray, Bob Webster, and so many others! He loved talking about Navy Ships, he could tell you everything about them, it was amazing! You could always count on Greg for a great laugh! He lived his crazy cats! They made him laugh! Most of all… Greg loved his family, Nephew, having dinner with his parents, family gatherings and an occasional cruise with friends/ family. You will be greatly missed! You, B. Web, and Tom . Rest easy my friend. Thank You for always being, That Guy!!
    Judy Gilbert

  10. Greg ,
I really cherish the time we worked together at the VOC we spent so much time together I loved your wisdom ,friendship and what you gave back to our veterans! I love you man I’ll see ya on the other side ! CV

  11. I have known Greg many years, having originally met him at the V.O.C.
He was always there when I needed assistance or someone to talk to over the years and helped make the impossible, possible. We ultimately became very very close and I felt his absence when communication suddenly went unresponsive. I also appreciated him traveling to N.Y.C.,with me this past December and I made sure I paid for every expense for both of us, including the unexpected. He was there when no one else in this world cared about anything but themselves. I really can’t think of a better person to Travel with . Live each day like it’s the last . We all have a book and the back cover comes when all pages and chapters of life’s journey are complete,. That is generally without warning that there’s no more pages left to author. ❤️
