Greece: December 15, 2014. Helen is predeceased by her husband Joseph J. D'Allesandro. She is survived by daughter, Christina (Guy) Montalbano; siblings, Frank Capuano, Rose Marie Capuano, Richard Capuano Thomas (Sue) Capuano; sister in-law, Frances (Dominick) Gattellaro; brother in-law's, Carl DePalma Gaetano (Margaret) D'Allesandro; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Helen's funeral mass is 10 AM Friday at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rochester General Hospital c/o Seneca Ridge Dialysis Unit, 370 Ridge Road E. Rochester, NY 14621 in Helen's memory. Born on April 15, 1940 Helen grew up in the Saxton/Jay Street area. Helen enjoyed reading, shopping, having coffee with her sister at Tim Horton's and a attending musicals. She loved her dogs. In her spare time, Helen liked watching old cowboy westerns and listening to 50's music. Family and friends would best describe Helen as someone who was generous, strong-willed, loving, quiet, reserved, and kept to herself. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
