I only knew Helen for a year or two; we played bridge together. I found her to be a delightful lady who I liked immensely. I admired her concentration on the game and her ready laugh when the group got to joking around.

She mentioned once that she had a hard time getting her shoes on with the small shoe horn. The next week I brought her my long shoe horn as I never used it. She was so happy! She told me several times how grateful she was to have such a handy device.

I missed Helen when she left the group and tried to find her without success. I will continue to miss her.
