History She is survived by her children, Patricia S. Criticos and George A. (Catherine) Criticos of Pittsford; her grandchildren, Meg, Ian and Cate; her sister, Manto of Athens, Greece; several nieces, nephews and loving friends. Services Irene's visitation will be 2-6 PM Sunday, followed by her Trisagion Service at 6 PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Monday at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 962 East Ave. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park. Additional Information Irene was born in Austin, TX just before her parents moved back to Geraki, Greece where she lived until she came to Rochester, NY in 1946 to marry and make a life with her husband, Ernest. Together, they raised their family and operated their family restaurant, Critic's on the Mall, at Greece Ridge Center. Irene will be remembered for her culinary skills, gardening and specialty crafts. Her family and friends will also remember Irene for her loving and generous spirit. Through her unceasing hospitality and willingness to extend herself to others, Irene made all who knew her feel welcome and comfortable. Her credo was to always be kind to others.
