Sue Foster Pat and family, We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom and grandmother. May she rest in peace . I think no matter where you stray, That I shall go with you a way. Though you may wander sweeter lands, You will not forget my hands, Nor yet the way I held my head Nor the tremulous things I said. You will still see me, small and white And smiling, in the secret night, And feel my arms about you when The day comes fluttering back again. I think, no matter where you be, You’ll hold me in your memory And keep my image there without me, By telling later loves about me. Dorothy Parker
Robert & Magdalene Ayers Relation to Deceased: Koubara Dear Koubara, You were the first Greek family to welcome Magda to Rochester and the Greek Community. You always treated us like family and for that we are so grateful and blessed. We will miss you but you will never be forgotten as you will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you. Bob & Magda As we look back over time We find ourselves wondering ….. Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ….. To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We’re thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us.
Marianne Facaris-Amati Relation to Deceased: Niece My sincere and heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Criticos family on the loss of their beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt. May God grant peace to their hearts and minds with the cherished memories of their loved one. My thoughts and Prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Marianne Amati Safely Home I am home in Heaven dear ones: Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still; try to look beyond earth shadows, Pray to trust our Father’s will There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand: do it now, while life remaineth you shall rest in Jesus’ land When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; oh the rapture of that meeting, oh the joy to see you come!
Jen Stanchus Dear Patty, George, and family- I am sorry for your loss and sadness and have lifted you up in prayer. Still, I cannot help but to smile when I think of the joyous reunion of your Mom and Dad (grandma and grandpa) in heaven. Mrs. “C” was such a beautiful lady. I began working for the restaurant in 1980 and stayed for many years because of this wonderful, loving family with Mrs. C as the matriarch. She was a strong lady, yet so gentle and kind; always reaching out to those around her with a love that was evident. God bless you. Elaine Lennox Relation to Deceased: Friend Irene was at my home some years ago and noticed our grape vine, the leaves were in good shape and she asked if she could pick some to make dolmades. I was glad for her to do so and just amazed by her enthusiasm for the world and her love of cooking. We have lost a special person, but her memories will go on in our hearts. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Angela Tata-Johnson I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. “C”. I worked for the Criticos family for 12 years and will always remember her friendly smile and her caring personality.
