Jack…my very best friend as I was growing up. He was the best friend of every young child in our neighborhood. I have so very many fond memories of Jack…seeing him walking with his giant boom box on his strong shoulders, playing kickball in our back yard, playing in the woods all day! I loved Jack dearly, and am so sad to know he is now in heaven, but know he is with Marion, his lovely Mom, and heaven has the very best angel…a star…shining bright always!
Jack attended our wedding, and I am so very grateful my two boys met Jack, and got to know and love him too! We had him over to our house for dinner, and went to dinner too with my Mom also! Sadly, we lost touch when my Mom (Mrs. Haelen) was no longer in her Salt Road home. I treasure my memories of Jack…he inspired me to become a teacher, and I will never forget him! My love to you Jack, and Jack’s family. You will forever be in my heart! ❤️ XO
