I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

He was an inspiration to me how strong of a person he was. He was so close with his family and he will be deeply missed. I will always love you Jakey RIP As we look back over time We find ourselves wondering ….. Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ….. To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We’re thanking you now. 19. Kent (Rachael) Blair Relation to Deceased: Cousin Jake was one of the strongest persons I have met – he was a very private individual, that was because he was always looking to protect someone from harm or hurt. From the years I have known Jake, he was the cornerstone of the family – someone that people would rely on – because he knew how to deal with situations and bring a sense of clam. It was almost like Jake was a gentle giant. He will certainly leave a hole in the family; no one could fill his shoes on that aspect. Rest in peace my friend – you will truly be missed, be it known that your sisters and mom are surrounded by a large loving family. It was a pleasure to have been related to you. Kent R. Blair Safely Home I am home in Heaven dear ones: Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still; try to look beyond earth shadows, Pray to trust our Father’s will There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand: do it now, while life remaineth you shall rest in Jesus’ land When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; oh the rapture of that meeting, oh the joy to see you come!

  20. Kelly D Blanchard-Rowley Jake-thank you for being being a part of my life, even if not for long. Your family always treated us so well-and I have so many memories and stories that I have shared with my own family and children of the times we had when we were younger. I always remember having a great time with you and your sister-I only wish that life could have kept me a little closer to you and your family so that in some way I could have expressed my gratitude-again thank you for the memories-and for being a part of childhood that I remember as good. 29. Chris Poprawski Relation to Deceased: Cousin I would like to send my deepest sympathy to Katie, Kristina, Traci and my Aunt Barb. I know from speaking with Jake on the phone when this all began, how much he cared for his sisters and his Mom. He was a special kind of person not many have the good fortune to meet, let alone be lucky enough to be related too. He faced his fight with Cancer head-on and with a positive atitude. I had the privilage of speaking with him about it at length. Since I had gone through it and he was about too , we formed a understanding and a bond. We had someone to talk to about what we were going through and they truley understood it. I’m grateful I was able to share my experience with him and Jake with me. He cared deeply for his sisters and was worried about them always. His heart was larger than most and capable of more love than the average person is lucky to have experience if they lived for lifetimes. His passing leaves an emptiness, but those of us who were blessed enough to have had Jake as a friend, cousin, brother and son will forever be better because he was a part of it. My family and myself shall pray f
