He went on to get his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry at John Carroll and a Masters Degree in English from St. John Fisher. After college, Jim served in the US Navy. He later worked at Eastman Kodak where he met his wife. Some favorite activities included spending time with family, going on a cruise, visiting Disney and Jellystone park, and attending the weddings of his children. He loved to travel. Jim also always enjoyed kayaking and hiking, playing in bands, and writing. Some of his favorites included the Boston Red Sox, and music, specifically The Eagles, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, Simon Garfunkel, and Paul Simon. Family and friends would best describe Jim as a perpetual joker, someone who was light-hearted, a positive person, and an entrepreneur. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
