Jimmy was a kind-hearted and friendly presence at Chapel Hill. He always greeted me with a smile and a kind word. Those tiny interactions made all the difference during the early days of COVID and working from home. I could tell he was a special gentleman. My condolences to his family and all of his loved ones.
