  1. RICK AND FRANCES CAMPOLI Relation to Deceased: Friends WHAT A WARM AND WONDERFUL PERSON WITH A SMILE FOR EVERYONE. SUCH A PLEASURE TO KNOW HIM. HEAVEN WILL BE A BETTER PLACE WITH HIM THERE. MAY THE COMFORT OF GOD HELP YOU DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. An Old Irish Blessing

  2. nancy sanzotta Relation to Deceased: niece If ever someone went straight to heaven, it’s my uncle Jimmie! My brother said it best…in Uncle Jimmies eyes, we were the best! No matter what you thought of yourself, or what was going on in your life, he thought his nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers were the best! The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

He was always smiling 🙂 The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  4. Katherine M Heger Relation to Deceased: Niece I was never able to dance with my dad,I lost him very early in my life. yet every time there was a wedding or a party Uncle Jim was right there to take my hand! He was a dandy dancer and at times quite hard to follow!! He loved to dance and I loved dancing with him. He has a very special place in my heart, and I will miss him dearly. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. An Old Irish Blessing

  5. Gwen Merkel Relation to Deceased: Niece from his second marriage Uncle Jimmie came into our lives when he started seeing, and later married, our Aunt Marie. What a great gift we received at that time and for many years to come in Uncle Jimmie! My children were babies at the time and so they got to enjoy him growing up. He was always so much fun to be around and and told the best stories of when he was a young boy growing up in a house full of women, giving up his bed when a new set of Irish relatives would land in the U.S., and of course, when he was a fireman. He will be greatly missed by the Merkels and I will especially miss our runs to Schallers at lunch time for a cheeseburger and a chocolate chill.

  7. Bill Kraemer Relation to Deceased: family friend I have so many great memories from Uncle Jimmy! I remember when he helped me slide down the fire pole at Engine 5 when I was young… and the many times my parents ( Bill and Bessie) and my sister Candy visited Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Edna on Waldo Street when we were growing up. Candy and I visited Uncle Jimmy about 3 years ago at his house in Greece and had such a fabulous time visiting with him, sharing memories about WW II, the Fire Department, and our families! I’ll always carry a piece of Uncle Jimmy’s love, laughter, and warmth in my heart! May God grant you eternal peace Uncle Jimmy!
