James R. Shamp Rochester: Passed away on December 17, 2022. James is survived by his son, Jeremy (Kelly) Shamp; grandchildren, Josh & Briana; parents Ronald & Patricia Shamp; siblings, Kevin Shamp, Scott (Maria) Shamp & Kelly (Dave) Inclema; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins & dear friends. Jim was born to parents Ronald and Patricia Shamp on June 16, 1959 in Rochester, NY. A true gift to his family, he came home from the hospital on Father's Day. After attending Spencerport Schools, Jim served his country in the Air Force and began a career in the drywall and construction fields. In his free time, Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and classic rock music. Jim will be dearly missed by his close friends; Billy, Doug, Dom, Charley, Ed, Greg, Onion, Chris, Neil, and Gary. James's life story will be shared during visitation, 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, December 22nd at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. A prayer service will follow visitation at 7:00pm.
