For many, many years we have received a Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter card from your mother. I believe I sent her a card this Thanksgiving and as I received no response I assumed what today I just acknowledged, your mother’s passing.
So very sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother to me was always a delight in person and through her written notes.I still remember her vivacity and her “red hair'” when we al visited in the late 1950’s.Your parnets took us to NiagaraFalls.
My mother Edith D’adamo Rogers your mom’s cousin and my father Bob Rogers were in correspondence all their lives.Tom I know we met when you and your mom visited massachusetts the year my dad was ill.
I remember your father, Lou’s and your mother’s visit to my home in R.I. the year before your dad passed away.
Later your mother was here visiting my parents and joined us for my youngest daughter’s first birthday party. \\ 28 years ago
My wife Anette and I visited with your mother a few years back on our way to visit my father in law in Buffalo.I have photos of our visit. We were so pleased to enjoy our time with her,
Please know that we are thinking of you and remembering your mother with much kindness.
So that you know our relationship, my grandmother Vittoria Stango D’Adamo and your grandmother Bettina Stango Magnolia were sisters.
After your grandfather died your grandmother Bettina, your mother, and Uncles Pat and Rudy lived with my grandparents Victoria and Domenico in Fall River Massachusetts, for a short time.
Tom, Don & John our families go so far back that it is almost hard to remember when we were all kids and did so many things together. I always considered your mom to be a 2nd mom to me. I think of her (and all of you) often with great memories of not only daily life but also all the trips we went on together. We loved getting your mom’s Christmas card every year and will miss it this year. Please know we are sending positive thoughts to all of you and your families.
